For this Bench Flash, please complete the information below and ship your ECU to Unit 5/10 Pioneer Ave Tuggerah, NSW 2259. Include a printed copy of your order confirmation in the package; this is crucial for identifying your ECU upon arrival at our warehouse and uploading the correct tune.


Please ensure your ECU is properly packaged and protected prior to shipping. Improper packaging can result in damage during shipment. Hardiman HPI is not liable for damage done prior to receiving your ECU. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs and return shipping will be charged at checkout.

Polaris limits the throttle opening of the 2017 Ranger 1000 programming to less than 30%. EVP reprogram the ECU to allow 100% throttle, revised timing, raised rev limits, raised speed limits, etc. Huge horsepower gains have been realized through these modifications to the OEM programming. EVP also build additional safety into their tune by lowering the fan on temperature by 20 deg F. The OEM fan on temperature is is too high (well over 200 deg F).

Evolution Powersports has vast knowledge of the Polaris Bosch ECU from their work in the automotive world. EVP have brought this expertise to the SXS market to extract the most performance from the Ranger 1000 engines as possible. 

NOTE: The 2017 Ranger 1000 is clutched for a 6500 rpm shift. This is FAR too low to get maximum performance from this engine. The Prostar twin makes best power at 7900-8000 rpms - therefore clutching is HIGHLY recommended.

  • Fueling adjusted for aftermarket components (intakes, exhausts and cat deletes) for optimal Air/Fuel Ratios No need to run a "piggyback" fuel controller with EVP's reflash for most bolt on mods (You are responsibe to make sure your mods are compatible with their programming - All EVO and most other aftermarket companies' exhausts are compatible with their programming as well as all EVO intakes)
  • Torque Limiters removed ("Shaft Saver delete") for a much more responsive and fun vehicle
  • Cooling fan on temperature is lowered by 20 Deg F, but can be set to whatever temperature the customer wants
